Hi, I'm Michelle, and I make every single candle you see in this shop by hand in Troy, Montana — a tiny mountain town tucked into the northwest corner of Big Sky Country.

Lite Em Up Montana Candles was born out of a simple idea: candles should be fun, beautiful, and made the right way. That means 100% soy wax, every time. No shortcuts, no blends — just clean-burning soy that's better for you and better for the air in your home.

Small Batches, Big Scents

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches so I can give each one the attention it deserves. I hand-select every fragrance, test every pour, and make sure what reaches your door is something I'd proudly burn in my own home (and I do).

Our candles look and smell good enough to eat — but please, lite em up, don't eat em up! From dessert-inspired scents to festive wax melts, every product is crafted to bring a little Montana magic into your space.

Why Montana?

Troy sits right where the Rocky Mountains meet the Kootenai River, surrounded by towering pines and some of the most dramatic scenery in the country. That connection to the land, the seasons, and the slower pace of life out here shapes everything about how I make these candles. When you light one, I hope you feel a little of that too.
