Hi, I'm Michelle, and I make every single candle you see in this shop by hand in Twin Falls, Idaho with inspired scents from my home town Libby, Montana, where I was born and raised. 

Lite Em Up Montana Candles was born out of a simple idea: candles should be fun, beautiful, and made the right way. That means 100% soy wax, every time. No shortcuts, no blends — just clean-burning soy that's better for you and better for the air in your home.

Small Batches, Big Scents

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches so I can give each one the attention it deserves. I hand-select every fragrance, test every pour, and make sure what reaches your door is something I'd proudly burn in my own home (and I do).

Our candles look and smell good enough to eat — but please, lite em up, don't eat em up! From dessert-inspired scents to festive wax melts, every product is crafted to bring a little Montana magic into your space.

Why Montana?


Montana will always be the heart and inspiration behind Lite Em Up Montana Candles. Our fragrances are inspired by Montana’s wild huckleberries, beautiful pine forests, cozy mountain seasons, and the comforting scents of home.

Although our journey began in Libby, Montana, every candle and wax melt is now carefully handcrafted and hand-poured in Twin Falls, Idaho. Wherever they are made, each creation continues to carry a little piece of Montana with it.
